This building was one of the most interesting places that we've investigated. The former brothel definately had some opressiveness to it. We had a bunch of personal experiences at this location as well We will have our investigation results up as soon as we're done evaluating the evidence.
Private Residence - Concord, CA
The new tenant in this home requested that we come into her home to check things out for her. There had not been any previous reports of paranormal activity however, this is not necessary to conduct a proper investigation. During our investigation we found out that the previous residents had both died. It is unknown if they died in the house or elsewhere, just that the home had been vacant for a couple of years since their deaths.
It is the findings of our investigators, upon review of evidence and personal experiences while on site, that this place had no evidence of paranormal activity. Although the house definately had a 'lived-in' feel to it, we do not believe the house to be haunted at this time.
Rose Hill Cemetary - Nortonville, CA (near Antioch, CA)
Morgan Territory Road - Clayton, CA
This location was an interesting one being found on a one-lane deserted road found in the shadow of Mt. Diablo. We were there to utilize this place as an open practice investigation to give all of our investigators and newcomers some practice and technical direction.
Stories of this location include one of a bandit who robbed a bank and buried his loot somewhere along this road. People have claimed to see his ghost protecting his treasure. Also many have reported the all too common white witch being spotted along this road. A woman named Sarah Norton who died and is also associated with the nearby Rose Hill Cemetary & old town of Nortonville is said to be seen at this location as well.
One more item of note, local legend has it that the body of a victim of the famous Zodiac killings was found at this location and that this spot was a popular "body dump" for various murders. While in the middle of an EVP session, our investigator John asked the question "Is this where your body was dumped?" and we caught a response that was not heard by any of us at the site, but was later found to be recorded on 3 different devices, including a digital voice recorder, a digital camera w/ video & my Hi-8 analog video cam. You can find that EVP around 4:15. We've passed this through several other research groups and they all agree that we have a class D or possible class C EVP. Here it is for you to enjoy!
